Product good; could be better
I get way too many error messages when these 'compatible' cartridges are inserted into a Dell 3130 CN printer (remove tape from cartridge). This cartridges are just plain tough to load -- removing the paper/foam insert from the cartridge takes some serious pulling ang tugging; if you do not start from one end and do it incrementally, you will leave indeed have 'tape on the cartridge".
I must admit that 4Inkjets does provide good support and will swap out a cartrdige readily if it does not perform under their warranty of usability.
4Inkjets states that this many instances of this error message is a programming element that the OEM purposefully puts into the connection between the cartridge and printer to move folks to using OEM cartridges at roughly 3X the price. Sorry, Unnamed OEM, but your performance does not justify tripling the cost of running the color printer.
I also get a poor color response sometime during the life of a cartridge (about 1 in 6 cartridges) that can usually be recitified by removing the cartridge and then actively shaking the cartridge side to side (even after doing so when loading it originally).
So while I would like to be more enthused about this product, I continue to get issues that I do not get with OEM cartridge. However the cost savings and the overall fair quality still make this a very viable cartridge choice. If the quality could be ratcheted up to good or very good, this would be an overwhelming endorsement.
