The toner cartridge is the container that holds the toner powder. The toners are installed onto the image drum for each color to create text and images. Below the image drum is the transfer belt which moves the images onto the paper, and located in the back is the fuser unit which uses heat and pressure to stick the toner image onto paper. Essentially, the toner cartridge holds the toner, the image drum creates the image, the transfer belt moves the image onto the paper, and the fuser unit makes sure it stays put.
