This Canon OEM BC21e is the print head unit and comes with two replaceable BJ tanks - the BCI-21Clr Color ink tank and the BCI21Bk Black ink tank. When you run out of ink, you can replace either tank without replacing the cartridge. You may need to replace the BC21e printhead at 4000 pages. You may purchase any of the ink tanks separately.
